Today I want to share my best photos from a few days ago when we visited a mountain nearby. This was the perfect opportunity to take photos! We went at sunset and it was beautiful. Pinks, reds, yellows, and blues streamlining the sky, the clouds ever so beautifully floating. You can only imagine how beautiful it was... if you can't, here are a few nice photos to help.

I have a Canon EOS 600D which I got as a present and it's my favourite! It is amazing! I also have three different lenses - the standard, EF 50mm f/1.8 II (portrait lens) and EF 90-300mm f/4.5-5.6 (zoom lens) which I hope to experiment with even more.

Here, I took photos with the standard and zoom lens. Honestly, both worked well. I shot automatically and I didn't adjust settings manually (not terribly professional).

My favourite things to photograph are clouds. It isn't very hard to just aim the camera at the most beautiful part of the sky and shoot. But I love the way they effortlessly glide across the sky, change form, and can captivate your imagination in unimaginable ways. That's what I like.
Here are a few basic tips I have for photography (I am no professional :)
the best time to photograph is in the Golden Hours (at sunrise and sunset) because the lighting will give a natural filter to your happy snaps
good lighting is key
rule of thirds. It is said that positioning your subject (or the focus of the picture) in a third, not directly in the centre captures attention, but Dutch angles (breaking the rules of conventional photography) can also be just as captivating
focus the camera! Blurry pics are never good, however if you want to create a soft focus in your photo (a little blurriness), go for it!
I think it's always a good idea to take an extra lens. I took the standard and the zoom lens - and both turned out to be useful!
get inspired. Sometimes, if you just don't feel a desire to take photos, don't force yourself. It will most likely translate into your snaps. So surround yourself with beauty and supportive people who will encourage you!
seek advice from others. A second or third opinion is so useful in improving your skills and your ability to see from another perspective
take every exciting opportunity you have! The more experience you get, the better you will become
