10 Things to do on your Holidays

When I think of holidays, the first thought that makes its way into my head is SLEEPING IN! It's so great to wake up later than 6:00am every morning and not worry about extremely mundane things (wait, where are my shoes?)

Since Easter is still upon us and some may be on their joyful holidays, here are a few things to do if you're feeling blue...
relax. THE most important point on this list. If relaxing means reading, doing a pamper session, watching movies or your favourite tv series - do it. Relaxing is key to ensure you have a lovely break from your 'outside of the house' life and can impact how well you get back into your regular routine
exercise! Get in shape for that dress you want to wear, get toned, or just do it for yourself! You can go swimming, jogging, or work out in front of your tv. After hours of sitting in front of your computer, do you want to be active? YES! (maybe)
go on a beach adventure! Put on your cute little sundress and your swimsuit and walk on the seashore, catch some waves, play volleyball, buy a beach ball (because they're always out of steam), build amazing sandcastles, eat ice cream on the sand, splat on heaps of sunscreen, and stare out into the never-ending ocean. And of course, bravely face the inevitable sunburn with Aloe Vera
be a tourist in your city or abroad. Go sightseeing, visit a water park, take pictures of all those things that catch your eye. Honestly, this can open your eyes to what an amazing city you live in, or are visiting. You'll also have some souvenirs from your voyage which is always a positive!
go outside. Yes, sometimes this can be daunting after sitting in the dark and staring at a bright screen, but it will do wonders to your disposition (trust me). In your garden/on your balcony, the golden afternoon will make everything beautiful. Build a hammock, pick flowers, have a picnic, a barbecue, make smores and stargaze into the universe...
experiment with cooking. Bake heaps and create beautiful creations, but don't go overboard with the calories - they add up...
go to the library. It is so cosy and an extraordinary place to read (which is not at all obvious). You also may discover you might want to live there
go shopping! It is terribly exciting when you have an allowance, but even if you don't, go window-shopping and try on absurd outfits. It is sure to lighten up the mood, and if you bring friends, ultimate happiness will be achieved!
feel crafty? You can make a scrapbook, learn to crochet, sew something for yourself - the possibilities are endless! You have the whole break to experiment and make mistakes!
catch up with friends and family. It's Easter for goodness sake! Catch up with relatives and friends that you don't see very often! It's always nice to see old faces again and ask them how it's been...
Feel inspired? Hopefully you might try out a few things! All the love N <3
