Not gonna lie, over the years I have acquired quite a collection of jewelry - ranging from dangling necklaces, metal bangles, and gold studs. Not at all saying I wear jewelry daily, apart from the uniform school earrings and the occasional bracelet. To keep all this precious treasure in an orderly arrangement, I had a large white jewelry cabinet which was very handy until a few weeks ago. I decided to purge my collection, leaving the most valuable and chic pieces that I would make an honest attempt to wear. The cabinet became too large for my scaled down collection so I decided to create the simplest installation for my necklaces which I will share with you today!

Yes, that's it. Just a branch, just some jewelry. I find it quite eco and cost friendly, and at the same time, adds to the earthy decor of the room (if you want to put it that way).
Time to feature the necklaces that I endeavour to wear:

Possibly my favourite!
A square gem which has a garnet on one side and a crystal on the other, hung on a silver chain.

A melange of black stars and coloured balls on several soft wire strings.

Cascading chains with the sun, moon and stars.

Rows of black squares, chained together with gold metal.
To give you a quick run of it, you need two hooks (big enough to fit the ends of a branch), and a straight looking stick.

And possibly the most challenging part of all, hang the jewelry on it! Wow!

The finished result:

About my photos in this post - I admit, I did put a filter over them. I felt like doing so to stay in the colour theme of this blog (warm and golden), and also because the time of shooting was not perfect, midday. The lighting was making the photos a little sad so I gave them the simplest filter.
Also just letting you guys know, I am setting myself a holiday goal to post something every day! Starting from today! In total it will be 18 posts. That is a huge number, but hopefully it will motivate me and inspire a growing passion to make blogging part of my everyday lifestyle!
All the love N
