Almost a year ago, again, we went for a night stroll at the University of Queensland and I got this photo opportunity! We just walked around the beautiful campus and enjoyed the chilly air. I do hope to get accepted to this university! The campus is amazing and the faculties are too.

Being me, I didn't take a tripod and I didn't use advanced camera settings (which I am learning to manipulate now!). So here is a short and sweet photography post!

It is surprisingly hard to photograph micro in the dark, with flash and without a tripod

I'll admit, it was hard without a tripod or the knowledge of shutter speed and aperture. I also understand these aren't stunning pictures, but it was a fun evening and I learnt a thing or two! The black and white photos were manipulated on the actual camera while I was photographing, so no post-processing!

On that note, I understand why people process photos. It gives them something more. More than what an original photo does, or it can fix over-exposure or enhance colours. I do want to experiment with Lightroom and Photoshop, as it does give photos an extra element of something, however, I will stay true to my a la naturel code! I took some of my favourite nature/flower pictures last year and I will definitely post them soon!

All the love N

P.S. I do seem to post photo journals of last year's photographic excursions - I'm catching up! I promise to finish up and start posting on time :)
