Back at it again! It's the end of week 13 at university, which means that one week of independent study and two weeks of exams are left. yay what fun.

My exam schedule is spread out really well, so the thing that's scaring me the most is the multiple choice format of two exams. I would honestly rather write an essay than risk the ambiguous answers of MCQ.
This week I've been pretty good at keeping to my study schedule and finishing everything off my to-do lists, which is the best feeling ever! On Thursday I had a bit of a sleep-in so that day was doomed to be unproductive. And also it was soooo hot ☀️
Also, lately I've been thinking a lot about going on exchange. My top places would definitely be Russia and/or France. There are sooo many reasons why, the culture, language and learning experience that gives you sooo much independence and memories, I hope. So travelling next year, here I come!

Anyways, here's a summary of my week!
Subject update
Marketing
- the amount of content in this course is astounding. I don't know how I will ever remember all the definitions and terms for the MCQ exam which I can already picture being a 2 hour nightmare.
Economics
- maths has never been a strong point of mine, and it being in the form of all these theoretical concepts. NUP NO THANKS. So this week I have realised that I better get on with understanding these ideas and getting practice questions actually correct. With the exam also being in MCQ format, if you get the answer wrong - you get the whole question wrong. WHERE ARE MY WORKING MARKS :(
Communication
- the last module of this course has actually been very interesting, it's all about media platforms, advertising in the interactive era and audience participation online. I'm actually looking forward to the last assessment of the course, which is a media script explaining a 'media moment' of our lives.
International relations
- studying the 20th century this semester has been so interesting and puts our lives today into an eye-opening perspective. Almost all of the diplomatic conflicts and crises in our decade have roots in the 1900s.

Time spent on phone
7H and 8min this week. Legit. And if you add my iPad its 10H and 16min of staring and scrolling.
I'm using an app called Moment that tracks the amount of time you spend on your device, and I find it super valuable. I always feel guilty every time I check and find I've wasted so much time scrolling through newsfeeds.
Amount of sleep
Definitely not enough thanks to my obedience to the to-do lists and reading of books...

Reading
I've spent a horribly large part of my study time reading books that are completely unrelated to my courses. GALLAGHER GIRLS. I've managed to read 3 books from the series this week 😅 Not productive but it's my favourite series. I know it's for a very teen audience, however I wish I was in that universe. Going to a private girls' school which is really a spy school sounds more than exciting!
Fun things
Friday - I went on an adventure to the city which consisted of walking, shopping and more walking. I loveeee Zara, Uniqlo and Lovisa so they are always the first shops I check!
Here are some of my change room shenanigans (p.s. I bought an outfit that I'll post in Spring Favourites!)
Next week brings a ton of studying and revision so hopefully at the end I'll come through with all the knowledge necessary for GPA 7s all around 👌
Thanks for reading!
All the love N <3
