Always waiting

Waiting…

To finally drive a car at 16

To get out of high school and become an independent uni student

To drink, go out and party at 18

To drink a glass of wine then drive with an open license

To get a boyfriend and go on cute dates and hold hands whenever

To finish this five-year degree and start going to work every morning to my own desk, in business casual outfits

To get married, and wear a beautiful dress and see the whole family ecstatic

To have my very own, pinterest-aesthetic apartment

I keep dreaming of these things.

But why not just, simply, enjoy what I have now?

You have to believe that life will give you lemons, to then be able to make lemonade.

No need to sulk. No need to sigh.

Just. Be.
